Welcome to the Whitefish Rifle & Pistol Club website. We are a private non-profit gun club located near the southern edge of Whitefish in beautiful North Western Montana. We promote the safe use and education of personal firearms. Our membership is varied from the casual shooter to the tournament shooter. We have grandparents who bring their grand-children out to learn how to shoot, as well as NRA certified instructors who train on firearm safety, reloading and black powder shooting.
Our club meets bimonthly at the Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell MT. The months our club meets are January, March, May, July, September and November. Please check our event calendar for specific dates and times. We generally meet at the Florence Borgen 4H building located at the Flathead County Fairgrounds 265 N. Meridian Road, Kalispell, Montana.
Annually we support the local hunters by helping them safely zero their rifles before hunting season. We try to coordinate the hunter sight-in event the weekend before Antelope season and again the weekend before general hunting season. For the hunter sigh-in event, the club provides shooting rests and spotting scopes. We ask that you bring eye and hearing protection. If you bring your children, please remember there is live ammo being fired. Do not allow your children to run around or play in the surrounding woods. This is for their safety and ours.
Thank you.
